Friday Bubbles: Mulled Wine

People love to say that California doesn't have seasons but that is not entirely true. While we may not have snow everywhere or brutally cold temperatures, there is a definite shift in the air around this time of year. I love the new cool breezes, a welcomed break from the thick heat we always receive in August. In addition to breaking out my booties and (light) scarves, we are also bringing out one of our favorite cold weather drink recipes---mulled wine. There is something so comforting about the smell of warm wine and spices in your house when the temperatures drop. We love this version because of the addition of apple cider and brandy, keeping the end result less tart with a bit more warmth.
